When it comes to soup, I could easily consumé it all day <— see what I did there?
This one is no exception.
- 1 cup Yellow Split Peas
- 6 cups Water
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Ground Tumeric
- 1 tsp Yellow Curry Powder
Throw all of your ingredients into a soup pot and bring to boil.
Turn down to simmer for 30 mins.
Pour soup into a blender and purée until smooth.
Makes approximately 6 bowls.
Notes: If you like your puréed soups thicker, use only 4 cups of water. Alternatively, if you want a thinner soup, I recommend adding extra liquid while blending to desired consistency.
***Changing the liquid ratio obviously will change the number of servings.
